Is Christ your Sustenance?

As a country boy from Mechanicsville, I don’t use the word sustenance much in my vocabulary. However, this week I got a call from a very sweet woman in our community who helped me understand the seriousness of that word. She called our church stating that she and her family were without food. Literally no food whatsoever. Not even a can of pork-n-beans. No Ramen noodles. It broke my heart. Thank God we have a food pantry at our church where we were able to get her some can foods, some dry foods, and a few other items to help her out. Sustenance means food and drink or regarded as a source of strength/nourishment. As I was preparing for my sermon this morning that word came to my mind like a dart from heaven. The Holy Spirit was asking me, do you depend on me like that woman who called earlier this week? Am I your sustenance? Am I your absolute source for strength and nourishment? Jesus doesn’t just want to be our Savior, but He wants to be our sustenance. He wants us to lean on Him for every need, every desire, and allow Him to be our source of strength. Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 1:20; “For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.” He is our source to every promise God has for our lives. Praise God for His love, mercy, and grace which is ever abounding and always available to us as His children.

  1. Praise JESUS CHRIST!

AS I was praying THE HOLY SPIRIT GAVE me The Word Sustenance without me knowing what it meant. I found the definition from THE GOD IN YOU when I Googled
the Word. HALLELUJAH! JESUS YOU’VE VERY GREAT!!!!!

16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. – JOHN 3:16-17

    Praise JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!

When we think upon our BLESSEDLY-TRIUMPHANT LORD AND GOD, Our CRUCIFIED AND RESURRECTED KING Of kings and LORD Of lords, we have no other recourse but to delight in HIM in all of our ways and dealings.

Let’s face it. Our BELOVED JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER {}. One of the Churches I attend puts out a Devotional that stated the TRUTH THAT we can’t go back, but JESUS CHRIST Our LORD AND GOD CAN GO BACK. FOR even in the OLD TESTAMENT JESUS CHRIST MADE THE sun to stand still until Joshua the servant of THE MOST HIGH GOD Routed Israel’s adversaries.

In today’s FOUNDATIONAL HOLY BIBLE SCRIPTURE TEXT, we see Our BELOVED LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST COMMANDING ONE OF TE MOST VISIBLE AND WELL KNOWN HOLY BIBLE VERSE JOHN 3:16 AND 17. Because of THE MEASURE OF FAITH ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST HAS ALREADY GIVEN Unto we certainly BELIEVE HIS PROMISE AND we are SAVED. Because of THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF our LORD AND GOD JESUS CHRIST, we DO HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, which can ONLY be found in our placing our Faith IN THE FINISHED WORK OF Our LORD AND GOD JESUS CHRIST WHEN HE SAID “It is finished {JOHN 19:30}.” AT CALVARY’S CROSS AND IN HIS TRIUMPHANT AND VICTORIOUS THIRD DAY RESURRECTION!!!!!

So, my “dear friend”, whatever you may be going trough today, remember that JESUS LOVES You. HE WILL KEEP YOU IN PERFECT PEACE AS YOU KEEP YOUR MIND STAYED ON HIM {ISAIAH 26:3}. Never give up or give In to anyone EXCEPT ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. HE, AND HE ALONE CAN FIX ANY PROBLEM OR ORDEAL. HE DELIGHTS when we come to HIM, and we can ONLY come to Our Heavenly FATHER THROUGH FAITH IN HIS NAME. Amen. Amen. “Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. – 1 JOHN 5:21.”. ” The grace of our Lord Jesus be with God’s people. – REVELATION 22:21
